HELLO, MY NAME IS
LINDSAY BLEDSOE
(she/her)
📋 ALC 📍Birmingham, AL 💬 English 🌐 Hybrid

I have been a practicing mental health counselor in Birmingham, Alabama for a year. I have worked in mental health care for the past decade. I have worked in psychopharmacology research, at the Crisis Center, and in hospital settings. I love working with sex workers, single parents, the LGBTQIA+ community, and college aged people. My specialties are spirituality (not only the big three religions), LGBTQIA+, coping skills development, and trauma processing. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, social justice reform and advocacy is a major part of my personal and professional life. As far as my practice, I am very client focused and I meet clients where they are. I spend a lot of time building coping skills, building self-confidence, resource gathering, and trauma processing.
