Eliana Rosete identifies as multiethnic (Latina, Filipina, & Native American). She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Our Lady of the Lake University, a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Texas A&M University: Corpus Christi, and two Associate of Arts degrees from Del Mar College, one in liberal arts and the other in psychology.
Eliana has previous experience interning in an outpatient group therapy setting for adults struggling with mental health disorders and working with residents at a state-supported living center for adults with intellectual disabilities. She also worked as a resident services manager at two low-income housing properties in Nueces county, providing case management, referrals to community resources, and organizing communal events like food bank drives.
In an inpatient psychiatric hospital, Eliana assisted a diverse range of clientele (geriatric, adults, and adolescents) utilizing activity therapy to explore healthy leisure and coping mechanisms while promoting socialization skills for those struggling with mental health disorders. Before this, she worked with children with autism using applied behavioral analysis techniques to help reach therapeutic goals for both clients and their families.
Currently, Eliana works in person at a non-profit organization, assisting individuals engaged in sex work or those who have experienced human trafficking. Her role involves connecting individuals to services and resources, advocating at every step to help them reach their desired goals. Inspired by this work, Eliana aims to expand her knowledge and complete the Equitable Care Certification course, looking forward to utilizing her skills to provide online, non-clinical services at Zepp Wellness.
