Hey, y'all! My name is Preethi Thomas and I'm a clinical social worker based out of Houston, TX. I received my Bachelor of Social Work from Texas Tech University and received my Master of Social Work from the University of Houston. The majority of my career has been servicing queer BIPOC living with HIV and helping clients access safe sex practices in the Houston area. I am a trauma-informed clinician that practices person-centered therapy and solution-focused therapy. I identify as decolonial, abolitionist, anti-oppressive, and a liberation-oriented practitioner. It is essential for me to understand my clients' lived experiences along with their material realities so I can engage in a culturally sensitive/responsive manner. I look forward to meeting with you and helping you start your journey with mental health.
