Kimberly has seen the power of learning more about and accepting the messy, complicated parts of ourselves. Kimberly specializes in trauma work, to help people find the strength inside themselves. She is also a Health at Every Size (HAES)-aligned provider, helping people find pleasure in physical goals without body shame. Kimberly has shared her passion in a variety of settings, ranging from working in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, providing therapy to incarcerated populations, to presenting at the Game Developer’s Conference. Kimberly has special experience working with transgender populations, including gender-creative youth. She has helped parents understand and support their teenagers. She also has helped many people explore their options in transitioning and more fully expressing their authentic selves. As a first-generation immigrant and person of color, Kimberly is dedicated to work with communities that may find the traditional modes of therapy intimidating or unwelcoming. These include immigrant populations, people of color, people with disabilities, and poly/kink communities.
